The Songwriter’s Cafe Podcast
As you may have noticed following our social media feeds, we have been participating in the ministry of AllAboutWorship.com since May of 2011. Since then, we’ve had the opportunity to participate in articles, content and write album reviews for great Christian bands, songwriters and worship leaders.
In August of 2011, Dan stepped into the role of Producer and Co-Host for the monthly iTunes podcast TheSongwritersCafe.com which is dedicated to connecting with and interviewing top level artists, songwriters, producers and leaders in Christian music as well as supporting agencies and companies offering resources to empower the church.

We wanted to post a quick thank you to UCB Canada – Chatham-Kent and also Joy 1250 Radio in Oakville for playing our music on air. It’s such a blessing to partner with radio to get the word out. Being a part of bringing a message of hope to a greater listening audience is a responsibility and a privilege.
We love and respect the mission and goal of each station and look forward to a long standing partnership with Christian radio to bring a message of hope that can help change lives and point people to Jesus.

We’ve noticed a huge increase in activity on Facebook ove the past year, so be sure to connect with our band page there and keep up to date with what’s going on! We have been busy producing more music, but God has been doing some incredible things in our lives recently which slowed down production. Rest assured however, God has not stopped the songwriting or the inspiration to share our music, but we are currently pursuing His will and want to make sure we make Him the priority.

0Christmas Tour with Sean Dayton
On Thursday December 8th, 2011, we had the pleasure of performing and sharing at Redeemer Christian Reformed Church in Sarnia Ontario. The night was a Christmas celebration of traditional and contemporary favorites performed by Sean and Aimee Dayton with their band and we had the pleasure of performing two songs and sharing a brief testimony of a memorable Christmas story from our lives.
Kerri wrote an original song called “Christmastime Has Come” which we performed acoustically and we also sang a variation on the traditional song “Silent Night”.
It was a wonderful night of sharing in the greatness of God and the blessing of the gift of Jesus – His Son come to earth.
0Interview with James Kurtis
On Saturday May 7th, we had the opportunity to visit James Kurtis at Joy1250 Radio in Oakville live during his show the New Canadian Countdown. This was our first opportunity to share our story and music on radio officially as artists.
We really appreciated the opportunity to share our story, the ministry through our music but also some fun stories of our family and the journey we’re on as parents of three energetic kids!
